![]() ![]() The story is told from both character’s perspectives in alternating chapters, which works well in giving us a sense of their inner struggles. ![]() Even though I did not really like the book, I kept reading because of her writing style. Tahereh Mafi has a beautiful writing style, one that is descriptive and emotional. The characters are complex and emotional and brought to life by the author. ![]() Despite that, I really like Juliette and Warner. She is both strong and clueless (maybe naive). Juliette is the new leader and we hear about her leadership burdens, but she doesn’t really do anything to actually lead. Some of the plot is unrealistic, and most of the parents are abusive. It follows Juliette, 17, and Warner, 19, as they attempt to lead Sector 45 following the death of the Supreme leader, Warner’s father, at the hands of Juliette. Restore Me is a powerful and emotional reading experience. ![]()
